WHAT IS DREAM DOCS ?

Dream Docs is an online legal software (SAAS) program which makes it simple, quick and easy to add estate planning to your law practice.

We start with forms and documents which have been used for 14 years by an estate planning attorney. This particular attorney sets up 120 to 150 living trusts per year for his clients.

Over the last 14 years, he has continuously improved the forms and documents to create a comprehensive, easy to understand method of practicing estate planning.

Dream Docs includes an online database which can be used by anyone with a PC computer linked to the Internet.

Attorneys using the system download the Estate Planning Information Sheet, record the necessary information from their clients and enter the information into the online database.

The user then selects the type of document package from the three available types - Simple Single, Simple Couple and Simple Double (Simple AB Disclaimer Trust). Dream Docs will also prepare Trust Quitclaim Deeds.

These three basic document packages will allow estate planning attorneys to practice comfortably within the following parameters:

1) Single clients with assets under 3.5 million dollars.
2) Married couples with assets under 7.0 million dollars.

Most all potential clients fall within the parameters of the Dream Docs system. If they don't fall within these parameters, you probably need to be a Certified Specialist to handle their cases.

Limited Estate Planning Practice:

Dream Docs is not designed to help you handle all clients. A single client with more than $3.5 million or a married couple over 7.0 million should see a certified estate planning specialist to set up their estate planning.

Limiting your estate planning practice avoids many of the malpractice and complexity issues which can get you into serious trouble.

What is SAAS?

SAAS is an acronym which describes Software as a Service, a software product based on the Internet. Subscribers utilize the software product through an "access program" located on the subscriber's computer.

The use of the SAAS Internet software requires a monthly fee. Since the software is located on the Internet, all updates to the software can be made quickly and easily.

CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT

The capacity for easy update allows the SAAS software to be continuously improved based on user input. Especially during the beta testing stage, SAAS software can be significantly improved.

As a Web 2.0 product, SAAS can be continue to test and evaluate the software in a "continous beta test" mode for the life of the software product.

AVOID NETWORK PROBLEMS

SAAS software allows the subscriber to bypass their normal local area network. All the users within a specific law firm can access the software without the network problems which can hinder the application of Web 1.0 software.

SIMPLE, EASY AND INEXPENSIVE

Dream Docs software utilizes the advantages of an SAAS product to create a simple, easy and quick set of internet templates coordinated with an online database.

The user fills out the provided intake forms for the individual client and then enters the information into the Dream Docs database. The attorney then selects online templates which are then merged with the database.

The resulting estate planning documents are then saved on the user's computer and modified to fit the needs of the client. A total of 34 templates guide the attorney through all phases of the estate planning process.

Because the software is located on the Internet server, the software can be provided inexpensively. While some other companies charge $200 per month, up to $1700 per month, the monthly cost of Dream Docs will be $30 per month.

While most companies charge fees for each user, Dream Docs allows each subscribing law firm a total of three (3) users per subscription.

Milestone

The auto-patcher is now operational.
This is a major milestone.
With the auto-patcher it is now possible to run the program and be kept up to date with the latest patches.
We are only one milestone away from the first alpha test.
The last milestone is the generator. It takes the template, swaps the tags for data, and writes the doc to the user’s local pc.
